The main point of this projector is its versatility. Blinder, strobe, spot, high brightness, waterproof... It checks all the boxes.
It does warm white only (no cold white here) and it does it very well. The dim-to-warm (aka red shift, amber drift...) function is very effective in making it look like a traditional halogen fixture. The adjustable dimmer curve and speed allow for fine-tuning when needed.
The projector itself is compact and sturdy. It seems built to last. The all-metal body is an assembly of 3 separate 'layers' for LED+optics / heatsink / DMX module.
The build quality shows great attention to details. Nothing feels or looks cheap. From positioning the double bracket to adjusting settings with the OLED touchscreen, every manipulation feels smooth.

[-] The cooling fan is not too loud, but definitely not silent either (even in "silent" mode), which could be challenging in really quiet environments
[-] No barn doors included (can be purchased separately)
Bottom line:
Concert, party, expo, theatre, shop, conference, TV studio... this projector will find its place in almost any situation, indoors or outdoors. Amazing fixture.
Also amazing is the customer service from Briteq. I contacted them with a question, within a few days they released a new firmware version addressing my request. Very friendly and efficient support. This inspires confidence. (Posted on 12/18/2020)
